Inspections
Inspections are the single most import investment you can make to extend the service life and ensure the safety of your play area. Inspections focus on identifying urgent hazards and issues, and include recommendations for repairs.
Inspections should be done every few months depending on usage in order to ensure continued compliance and safety. We can help you determine the proper inspection schedule.
All Inspections are performed by a NRPA Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI)
For an inspection, we check the playground's compliance with all current CPSC guidelines and ASTM standards.
These include, but are not limited to:- Proper safety surfacing
- Adequate size use zones around play equipment
- Equipment is free of protrusion or entanglement hazards
- Openings in play equipment are free of head and neck entrapments
- Identify worn or broken equipment
- Play area is free from trip hazards
- Compliance with ADA regulations
